For March’s moodboard we were inspired by the Pantone colour of the year: Greenery, the spring shoots appearing in the countryside and the gorgeous wedding photo shoot we recently took part in at the fabulous new wedding venue, Twyning Park. Please find the links to some fabulous suppliers above.

Green colour palette- wedding march moodboard Caroline Clark Bridal Boutique

Here at CCBB we know choosing a green colour palette can be a little daunting- children of the 80’s will not be able to shake the connotations of emerald green or (even worse) neon green. However as the moodboard shows greens come in a huge variety of  shades, and depending on the shades which you choose your wedding look can be elegant, vintage, sophisticated or relaxed.

Here are our tips for choosing a green colour scheme:

  • Dark Greens can be the perfect contrast to Ivory
  • Pale greens can sometimes appear lost next to Ivory- if you opt for a pale green don’t be afraid to introduce soft colours- why not add blue or hint of gold to add depth to your look
  • For a modern look choose greens and ivory
  • For a touch of vintage why not add a pale blue or pale pink
  • Why not dress your maids in shades of green- from a sage green through to mint.
  • Green works well in most venues- from Marquee, to Tipi to County House.
  • For a feminine look add pinks and golds to green
  • For a modern look bouquet stick to green foliage and flowers
  • Choose your flowers carefully if you are going for one shade of green only, as some different coloured foilage may make the look too busy.

We hope this has given you some ideas for choosing a green colour palette for your wedding colour scheme.

Did you choose a green colour palette for your wedding colours? How did you incorporate the colour? We would love to know!

Love Carrie xx
