Pippa’s Wedding Dress

On 20th May we were excitedly waiting in the boutique to see what dress Pippa Middleton had chosen to wear on her wedding day. As soon as the first pictures appeared of the Pippa’s wedding dress- we were in love. The gorgeous textured lace, the on trend high neck and that beautifully fluid skirt. She couldn’t have chosen anything more perfect. The dress was designed by Giles Deacon, a british designer who typically challenges the idea of traditional womenswear, and uses wild prints and pop culture references in his designs. His signature can be seen in the way Pippa’s wedding dress with it’s textured lace, appeared seamless.

Our favourite has to be the Gypsophelia wedding dress by Ivory and Co, made from a gorgeous heavy corded lace which can be worn with or without the Gypsophelia bolero. Perfect for having two wedding day looks, why not add a belt for a different look?

Here at the boutique we are now excitedly waiting to see whether we can find out what Pippa wore for her evening reception. Apparently the dress was a soft and flowing, jewel encrusted gown,  which allowed her to move freely, whilst looking stunning. We can’t wait to see this creation!
